Technical Seminar on Middle Player concludes in Thailand

 
Mr Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association, was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony, which was led by FIVB Instructor Mr Jivko Jetchev.
 

Bangkok, Thailand, October 14, 2013 – After five days of theoretical and practical training, the FIVB Technical Seminar on the Middle Player at the FIVB Development Center in Bangkok, Thailand, was successfully concluded on Monday.

Mr Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association, was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony, which was led by FIVB Instructor Mr Jivko Jetchev.

Mr Somporn presented certificates to all seminar participants following their completion of the five-day course. On behalf of the FIVB and the course participants, Mr Jetchev expressed his sincere gratitude to all staff members working at the FIVB Development Centre in Thailand and the Thailand Volleyball Association for their hospitality during the seminar.

The seminar was held from October 10 to 14 at the Sports Office of the Ramkhamhaeng University, also the facilities of the FIVB Development Centre in Thailand.

In his closing speech, the TVA President Mr Somporn said, “Congratulations to all seminar participants on your completion of the course. I hope you will all apply the valuable knowledge from this seminar to develop volleyball in your countries. I sincerely wish all of you a safe and sound return. We look forward to welcoming you back to the FIVB Development Centre in Bangkok for the courses and seminars that will be held in 2014 in Thailand.”

A total of 24 coaches from Japan, Maldives and Thailand participated in the five-day seminar, with a majority of the participants being coaches from the clubs, which will compete in the 2013-2014 Thailand Volleyball League.
