Partizan Vizura wins Serbian Super Cup

Serbia Volleyball Federation President and FIVB Executive Vice President Aleksandar Boric presentes the winners’ trophy to Bianca Busa, team captain of Partizan Vizura
Belgrade, Serbia, October 4, 2013 - The Volleyball club Partizan Vizura Beograd claimed the inaugural edition of Serbia’s Super Cup after routing in straight sets reigning national champions Crvena Zvezda Beograd (25-23, 25-22, 25-10) at Sumice sports hall on Thursday. Some 800 fans were in attendance as underdog Partizan Vizura cruised to a speedy straight win in only 74 minutes of play.

The trophy for the winning side was presented to the team captain of Partizan Vizura, Bianka Busa, by the President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and FIVB Executive Vice President Aleksandar Boricic. A special plate was awarded to the players and staff of Partizan by Mrs. Svetlana Smiljanic, member of the Executive Board in the Wiener Städtische Insurance Company, the title sponsor of Serbia’s Superleague. Mr. Nenad Golijanin, First Vice President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, presented a special memento to the players and staff of Crvena Zvezda Beograd.
