Anguilla conduct first ever Coaches Course

A total of eight men and six women took part in the course

The Valley, Anguilla, September 24, 2013 - The Anguilla Amateur Volleyball Federation, in collaboration with the FIVB, organised their first ever volleyball sporting event when they held the Level 1 Coaches Course from September 2-9.  

The course was led by FIVB instructor, Mr. Dan llie Girleanu from Romania.

The president of the Anguilla Federation, Mr. Winston Duncan expressed his satisfaction with having the opportunity to run the Volleyball Cooperation Programme this year as part of the federation’s development strategy for the future.

The Level I Coaches Course is offered through the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) and is aimed at improving coaching skills and participants’ knowledge of the game.
