Algeria to organise the third CAVB High Performance Seminar
Cairo, Egypt, September 6, 2013 – The African volleyball confederation CAVB announced that it will organise the third edition of the Coaches' High Performance Seminar in Algeria from October 9 to 14, 2013.
The course will be conducted within the framework of the CAVB Strategic Plan, which aims to develop, spread and activate the sport of volleyball all over Africa. The plan is in place to attract the participation of youth and junior players in CAVB activities in order to enhance the level of volleyball in Africa.
The seminar will cover topics such as team development and teaching of fundamental volleyball skills (passing, setting, spiking, serving, blocking and digging) and training ideas for liberos.
The course will be open to National Federations Leaders (President, General Secretaries or Board Members), Volleyball Coaches and Team Managers or any Technical Official Representatives (club or National teams).
The CAVB organised the first High Performance Seminar in Cairo 2010 and the second in Morocco in 2011.
