Bethlehem, Palestine, August 30, 2013 – The Palestinian
National Federation recently organised a Volley
All Festival with the support of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
The Mayor Of Bethlehem was present to lend his support
and the festival received a great deal of media coverage from the written press
as well as Palestine TV, MIX TV, the Qatar Cup TV and Al-Jazeera.
National Federation President, Reneh Zambeel was very
pleased with the success of the event and to see the positive role that the
sport of volleyball is playing in lives of children in Palestine.
The Volley All Festival is an annual worldwide event
where thousands of young people get together to play volleyball in their
cities, public parks or other locations used by the local community.
Since its inception four years ago the event has served to promote volleyball
and beach volleyball at the national level and has shown that it can be a truly
universal sport with mass participation. The festival also aims to attract
public interest through TV and Media coverage to support local authorities and
potential sponsors.
