Teachers' Course held in Lesotho

A total of 29 participants took part in the course

Maseru, Lesotho, August 28, 2013 - The Lesotho Volleyball Association, in collaboration with the FIVB, organised a Teachers’ Course from August 12 to 16 led by FIVB Instructor Alexander Leibetseder.

Around 29 local participants among them 12 women took part in the practical and theoretical classes of the course. Mr Leibetseder expressed his satisfaction with the high motivation of the participants during the course. The Lesotho Volleyball Association has planned to organise more practical courses in the future in order to give the sport of volleyball more visibility with its stakeholders and government.

The teachers’ courses are a component of the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme aimed at providing background knowledge and pertinent educational tools for school instructors to help them integrate volleyball into their school curriculum.
