FIVB mourns passing of former referee

Emmanuel Ngoloko in his last public appearance presented the Best Receiver Award to Sherihan Sameh (Ahly) at the 2013 Women's African Club Championship

Lausanne, Switzerland, August 23, 2013 - It is with great sadness that the FIVB has learnt of the passing of former FIVB referee Emmanuel Ngoloko on Thursday.

Mr Ngoloko was a Cameroonian international referee for many years and a member of the African Refereeing Commission.
His last mission was at the 2013 Women's African Club Championship in Madagascar where he was appointed as Referee Delegate and presented the Best Receiver Award.

Mr Ngoloko, 62, was first nominated as an FIVB international referee in 1952 before becoming a Referee Delegate.
The volleyball family all over the world send their sincere condolences to his family and to the Cameroon Volleyball federation.
