Volley All Festival in Germany set to get bigger and better

Next year’s Volley All Festival will also take place in Braunsbedra from the June 20 to 22, 2014.

Braunsbedra, Germany, August 16, 2013 - The German Volleyball Federation held their annual Volley All Festival in the city of Braunsbedra. There was an excellent turn-out with 1,500 participants taking part in the competition, including players from Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia.

The festival, which took place from June 13 to 16, saw volleyball matches being played on 60 different outdoor-fields. Along with local sports club, SV Braunsbedra, that was responsible for the organisation of the matches, more than 30 sponsors and suppliers lent their support to the event.

The growing participation in the festival is testimony to its success and its attractiveness. The objective is to give the event more of international flavour and as this year’s festival showed, the organisers are well on their way to achieving this goal.

The city of Braunsbedra and sponsors were also pleased with the quality of the event and expressed their willingness to be part of the festival in the future.

The Volley All Festival is a mass event with mass participation. It was created to give people around the world a fun, enjoyable and competitive environment in which to play volleyball and beach volleyball. The event gives national federations the opportunity to develop the sport locally and to work on an event which combines the promotion of sports, youth interest, and media at the local and international level.
