World Grand Prix stars in 'full bloom' in Ekaterinburg

Ekaterinburg, Russia, August 8, 2013 – Putting aside their volleyball rivalries for a few hours, the participating teams of the World Grand Prix in Ekaterinburg took part in a special event at the Kharitonov gardens.

The national teams from Cuba, Thailand and Russia, who were in Ekaterinburg to participate in the World Grand Prix, helped to create a garden with local school children.

It was a unique social event with an excellent turn out in spite of the weather.  After all the hard work was done, the young gardeners were invited to take part in a workshop where they were given hands on experience with simple scientific experiments.
