Refereeing course comes to a successful conclusion in Togo

The course also received a great deal of media coverage over the week.

Lomé, Togo, August 9, 2013 - The Volleyball Federation of Togo organised a refereeing course in the country over the last week of July. The five day course was attended by 34 men and six women all coming from different areas of the host country.

Course Director, Mr. Abdelmajid Kilani Djerad from Tunisia was pleased with the progress of the course and the conditions provided by the Federation for the large number of participants who were in attendance. The course also received a great deal of media coverage over the week.

The FIVB refereeing courses are in place to keep referees' knowledge and competence of volleyball and beach volleyball rules in line with current trends in the sport.
