Kenya women beat Tanzania in 2014 FIVB World Championship Qualifier

Kenya lead the Africa Pool H Women's World Championship qualifier after three days

Nairobi, Kenya, July 28, 2013 - Uganda beat Burundi 3-0 (25-10, 25-6, 25-11) on day three of the Pool H Africa qualification tournament for the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship 2014 on Sunday.

Uganda, who had lost their first match of the qualifier to the more experienced Egypt, controlled the match from the beginning and did not relent until the end. Burundi showed glimpses of brilliance, but were no match for their East African neighbours.

In the second match of the day, hosts Kenya beat Tanzania 3-0 (25-10, 25-11, 25-16) after having triumphed over Burundi on the first day of the competition to edge Egypt at the top of the standings with both teams tied on six points from two matches but with a slightly better points ratio.
