Kenya to play Burundi in the opening of men's Pool H World Championship qualifier

Uganda team prepares for African men's pool H qualifier

Kampala, Uganda, July 24, 2013 - The Kenya men’s national volleyball team arrived in Kampala Uganda Tuesday night ahead of the 2014 FIVB World Championships African Zone H Qualifiers to be played at the Lugogo Stadium Arena on Thursday.

Kenya plays its first match against Burundi on July 25, 2013 starting at 5pm, with hosts Uganda also starting their campaign against Tanzania that day. 

Kenya's next match is against Tanzania on July 26, 2013 and the Gideon Chenje team play its final match against hosts Uganda on July 27, 2013. The top three teams of the four nation round robin tournament will advance to the zonal phase of African qualifier to be held in October and November.

Match Schedule

July 25, 2013: Kenya v Burundi 5pm, Uganda v Tanzania 7.30pm
July 26, 2013: Kenya v Tanzania 5pm, Uganda v Burundi 7.30pm
July 27, 2013: Burundi v Tanzania 5pm, Kenya v Uganda 7.30pm
