Young Players Course in Myanmar


Naypyidaw, Myanmar, July 23, 2013The Myanmar Volleyball Federation hosted a Young Players at the end of June, led by Mr. Jaksuwan Tocharoen from Thailand.

In total there were 34 young players, 21 boys and 13 girls, who received training on volleyball fundamentals, playing tactics and game drills over the five day course.  

The Young Players course also serves as a talent identification programme with the aim of motivating the further participation of young players in the sport.  

The Federation expressed its satisfaction with the course and the instructor was pleased to see the young players fully committed to learning as much as possible.

The Young Players course exists within the framework of the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme. The course aims to encourage young talent and to motivate their future participation in the sport by teaching them fundamental techniques, which provide a basis for the learning.
