Level II Coaches Course underway in Senegal

This is the third course run by the Centre this year. The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) sponsors, on average, three courses a year at the Centre.

Dakar, Senegal, July 18, 2013 - A Level II coaching course is currently being held at the Development Centre in Dakar, Senegal from 14 to 26 July.

The course is being led by Mr. Eric Ngapeth of France and Mr. Mohamed Ben Mustapha from Tunis. In all there are 24 participants, including one women and five observers attending the course.

The Coaches Courses are in place to improve the knowledge and competence of coaches and teachers around the world so that they may gain recognition as FIVB coaches, while representing a unified system for training coaches in all zones.

The aim is to teach participants the most recent trends of the game so as to encourage an internal method of training and qualification for coaches and teachers. The courses also provided participants with a space to exchange ideas and experiences
