Referee Course starts in Congo Brazzaville

 
The eight day course is scheduled to end on July 21
 

Brazzaville, Congo, July 18, 2013- An International Referee course started in Congo on July 14 in a push to develop the African refereeing project.

The course attracted 14 participants – including one female referee – coming from nine countries; Burundi, Congo Brazzaville, Congo DR, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda and Gabon.

The participants are being led by Course Director, Songsak Chareonpong and instructor Sandy Alexander Steel.  

The opening ceremony of the course was attended by the President of National Olympic Committee of Congo Brazzaville, a representative from the Ministry of Sport and the Vice-President of the Congo Brazzaville Volleyball Federation.
