CAVB National Coaches Course concludes in Uganda

The participants in the CAVB national coaches course in Uganda

Kampala, Uganda, July 17, 2013 - The Uganda Volleyball Federation completed its first CAVB National Coaches' Course on Friday, at the MTN Arena in Lugogo.

FIVB Instructor Mr. Bernard Jose Denis from Seychelles conducted the five-day course that attracted 39 participants from all-over the country including up-country locations.

While closing the course, Uganda Olympic Committee General Secretary, Mr. Don Rutare commended the participants and the Federation at large on ensuring that the skills of volleyball technicians were developed at all levels of the game.

The Federation now plans on hosting a level two coaches course next year to complement the training of the 90 level one coaches that are currently part of the Federation.
