Teacher's course precursor to further volleyball development in Panama

In all there were 26 school teachers in attendance at the course, which looked at the latest volleyball teaching methods for children.

Panama City, Panama, July 16, 2013 - The Panama Volleyball Federation hosted a teacher’s course from July 6 to 10 July led by course instructor Mr. Argelio Hernadez from Cuba.

The course instructor expressed his satisfaction with the commitment and enthusiasm of the participants as well the excellent level of organisation by the National Volleyball Federation, led by  president, Mr. Carlos Quintana.

Mr. Quintana acknowledged the role of the Volleyball Cooperation Program over the last few years in helping his federation prioritise its development tasks and there are now plans to launch a level II coaching course in the coming year.

The teachers’ courses are a component of the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme aimed at providing background knowledge and pertinent educational tools for school instructors to help them integrate volleyball into their school curriculum.
