Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, July 5, 2013 – A Volleyball Cooperation Program (VCP) for teachers, organised by the Volleyball Federation of Ethiopia, is currently underway in Addis Ababa.

The course is being led by FIVB instructor Mr. Alemayehu Shoatatek Kassegne and there are

40 teachers participating in the course, which started on July 2 and is scheduled to finish on July 6.

Over the last few years, the Volleyball Federation of Ethiopia has focused on establishing close and direct involvement with teachers in schools throughout the country as a part of their strategy to increase the popularity of sport at the community level.

The teachers’ courses are a component of the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme aimed at providing background knowledge and pertinent educational tools for school instructors to help them integrate volleyball into their school curriculum.
