Coaches course ends successfully in Botswana


Gaborone, Botswana, July 5, 2013 – The Volleyball Federation of Botswana has recently completed a Coaches Course on the fundamentals of volleyball.

The course, which took place from June 25 to July 2, saw the participation of 22 coaches from around the country and was led by course instructor George Appadoo from Mauritius. The practical and theoretical components of the course took place at Serowe College, which also specialises in teacher education, located 315 km from the capital Gabarone.

The Level I Coaches Course is offered through the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) and is aimed at improving coaching skills and participants’ knowledge of the game.
