Brazil, undefeated in Pool D. Fast win against Korea

 Mexicali, Mexico, June 30 2013 — Brazil became the second team from the South American zone that achieved a 3-0 record after a victory over Korea in straight sets (25-22, 25-16, 25-23).

Douglas Souza and Rodrigo Leao were the top scorers for the undefeated Brazilian unit that stands as leader of Pool D . Souza closed with 16 points and Leao with 15.

Korean captain Geun Jeong-Dong scored 10 for his team that showed a good defense in first and third sets, but gave 31 points  in errors.

The Brazilian squad had to work on its service and block to guarantee a win.  A total of 13 successful blocking plays were awarded to the South American team against only 3 registered by Korea.

Next rival for Brazil (3-0) will be Algeria (0-3) and Korea (1-2) will match USA, that had a 1-1 record before its match against Egypt on Sunday.
