Level 1 coaches course underway in Tunis

A total of 45 participants from Tunisia, Libya and Morocco, are participating in the Level 1 coaches course.
Tunis, Tunisia, June 27, 2013 – A Level 1 coaches course began in Tunis on June 25 with the aim of improving volleyball knowledge at all levels in the region. 

A total of 45 participants – including 13 women – from Tunisia, Libya and Morocco, are participating in this course, which ends July 6.

During the two week course many topics will be discussed in lectures, including: technical fundamentals, the transformation model of the player – expertise, knowledge being models play with the offensive organization, defensive organization, the transition game – young players in High Level the discovery of activity based on the success and the game planning, scheduling and organizing a workout observation and monitoring of players, and awareness of major injuries that occur in volleyball and proper care.

In practice sessions, participants review situations related to theoretical topics.

Participants also practice technical training, including service, start to attack, run for the pass attack for the defence.

The Level I Coaches Course is offered through the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) and is aimed at improving coaching skills and participants’ knowledge of the game.
