The debutants of the Russian team managed to settle their nerves and defeat Serbia
 
Serbia captain Dragan Stankovic: "It was psychologically difficult to come out on the court today after our loss yesterday. We did our best and we had a chance to win during the fourth set, but we made a lot of mistakes and let the Russians achieve victory." 

Serbia coach Igor Kolakovic: "This match was better than yesterday, but I cannot say I am satisfied with the result."

Russia captain Sergey Makarov: "We played five sets, and it was a good experience for us. We were able to fix the cooperation inside the team."

Russia coach Andrey Voronkov: "We do not have much time to work on some elements, but the players have a great will to play and win. The debutants have showed their strong nature, and I would like to thank them for that."
