Almaty, Kazakhstan, June 12, 2013 – The Volleyball Federation of Kazakhstan organised a Volley All Festival in Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk on June 1 and then Almaty on June 3 for around 450 children.

In Almaty, the event took place at the Oktyabr Jarylkapov football complex. There were 42 teams that took part in the U15, U13 and U11 age categories and matches were played in one set until 25 points.

Winners were awarded with medals, cups and diplomas and there was considerable radio and TV broadcasting in the lead up to the event. The local TV Channels and newspapers also provided excellent coverage during the event.

The Volley All Festival was supported by Sports and Physical Training Affairs Agency of the Republic of Kazahkstan and the event was sponsored by the National Welfare Fund Samruk Kazyna

The 'Volley All Festival' is an annual worldwide event where thousands of young people get together to play volleyball in their cities, public parks or other locations used by the local community. Since its inception four years ago the event has served to promote volleyball and beach volleyball at the national level and has shown that it can be a truly universal sport with mass participation. The festival also aims to attract public interest through TV and Media coverage to support local authorities and potential sponsors.

This is the third Volley All Festival organised in Kazakhstan and the event has achieved a significant measure of success as the number of participants has increased and more cities have been involved.
