Volley All Festival takes place in Porto

Porto, Portugal, June 11, 2013 – Around 1,000 children participated in a Volley All Festival – Gira Volei National Encounter – organised by the Portuguese Volleyball Federation at the Castelo de Vide in Porto.

From June 1 to 2, children from the region took part in the event aimed at promoting volleyball as a fun and competitive sport among the youngsters.

The Volley All Festivals are a well-developed concept in Portugal where several events are organised throughout the whole country with a special workforce dedicated to organising this activity. It is estimated that the programme involves around 100,000 youths in Portugal and is a role model example on how to get youth interested in sport.
