12 teams - as per their position in the European Ranking - will start their campaign directly from the third round which is scheduled for January 3-5, 2014. The third round will be played via 5 tournaments of 4 teams each, with the winners as well as the second ranked team with the best score eventually qualifying for the World Championship.
