FIVB Level I and II Coaches Courses held in Cairo

Cairo, Egypt, May 24, 2013 – The Egyptian Volleyball Federation is currently conducting level I and II coaches courses at the National Olympic Centre in Cairo. The courses, which are being led by Mr Hamid El-Wassimy and Mr Athanasios Papageorgiou, began on May 17 and will run until May 29.

In all there are 105 individuals – 71 in Level I and 34 in Level II – from eight countries, participating in these courses. What was initially a yearly local training course has been transformed this year into an international event.

The courses, offered through the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP), aim to increase the skills and knowledge of local coaches by offering both practical and theoretical training.

More information on the Volleyball Cooperation Programme can be found here.
