VCP teaching course in Kampala, Uganda

 
VCP Participants in Kampala, Uganda
 
Kampala, Uganda, May 18, 2013 - A Volleyball Cooperation Programme Beach Volleyball teachers course was carried out in Kampala, Uganda from May 13 to 17.

The 35 participants - who included physical education students, referees and coaches – were given theoretical instruction on the rules of play and other technical aspects of the game. The course was instructed by Mr. Alemayehu Shoatetek Kassengne, an FIVB Instructor. 

The closing ceremony was attended by President of Uganda Olympic Committee Mr. William Blick, Assistant Commissioner for Physical Education Mr. Sammy Odong and UVF President Mr. Sadiq Nasiwu.

Participants also received SK5V balls to help introduce Volleyball to the young ones back in their schools.
