Coaches Level 1 course in Tanzania

The course involved 35 participants, including eight women, all from Tanzania

Tanga, Tanzania, May 17, 2013 – A Coaches Level 1 course was successfully completed in Tanzania.

The course ran from May 6-17 and involved 35 participants, including eight women, all from Tanzania. Thirty of the 35 coaches received their certification.

Of the participants, 14 completed the oral exam, a number lower than expected due to translation difficulties.

The course – consisting of eight hours of theory and practice – was aimed at developing participants’ volleyball knowledge while helping to spread the game in their countries.

President of the Tanzania Volleyball Federation, Mr. Agustina Agapa, coordinated the course, while Mr. Allen Alex was the coordinator.
