Successful Volleyball Champions League wraps up in Afghanistan
Kabul, Afghanistan, May 15, 2013 – A successful Volleyball Champions League wrapped up in Afghanistan on April 29, showing a commitment of volleyball development and interest of the sport in the country.
The top 17 teams from around the country qualified and participated in the VCL. Qualifications began in regions, where the winner and runner up teams of each regional championship qualified for VCL. The teams were then divided into four groups, in which the two teams with the most points in each group moved to the second round, and then four teams advanced to the semifinal.
