VCP course for teachers in Laos

In all there are 28 participants from eight provinces and 13 schools that are taking part in the programme

Vientiane, Laos, April 29, 2013 – A Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) teachers’ course, led by instructor Mr Jaksuwan Tocharoen, began in Laos on Sunday.

The four day course has been organised by the Laos Volleyball Federation to educate and instruct teachers from various schools in the country’s capital and to introduce them to the latest volleyball techniques and trends including the latest FIVB teaching material.

Over the past few years, the Laos Volleyball Federation has been running a variety of volleyball courses and has also hosted competitions like the women’s Volleyball Sea Games in 2009.

The teachers’ courses are a component of the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme aimed at providing background knowledge and pertinent educational tools for school instructors to help them integrate volleyball into their school curriculum.
