Argentina's men's national senior team to be announced

Another very demanding international season is on the cards for the team

Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 11, 2013 – On Friday, the head coach of Argentina’s men’s senior national team will officially introduce the seventeen players chosen for the 2013 season. This year’s team will also include five U23 athletes who are all part of the roster to play in the FIVB World League. The names of players for each of the five intercontinental rounds will be released at a later date.

With the intercontinental round formula renewed, Argentina will play at home – in Mendoza against Brazil and against France in Salta – and will travel to play against USA, Bulgaria and Poland.

Argentina will also host the final round in mid-July in Mar del Plata. As a host team, Argentina is already qualified for the finals. The country previously hosted the finals in 2000 and 2010.

The FIVB World League also serves as a qualifier for the 2014 World Championship.
