FIVB launches Volley All Festival invitation

Lausanne, Switzerland, March 26, 2013 – The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has called on national federations around the world to take part in this year’s ‘Volley All Festival’.

The 'Volley All Festival' is annual worldwide event where thousands of young people get together to play volleyball in their cities, public parks or other locations used by the local community. Since its inception four years ago the event has served to promote volleyball and beach volleyball at the national level and has shown that it can be a truly universal sport with mass participation.

The festival also aims to attract public interest through TV and Media coverage to support local authorities and potential sponsors.

From 2009 to 2012 the Volley All Festivals have seen the participation of 1,848,239 people around the world. Last year alone a total of 505,159 people attended the events organised by 62 national federations.

Photos, videos, annual reports and other information can be found on the FIVB development page. National federations can also access the relevant application forms in English, French and Spanish here.
