Poland to face Germany, Netherlands and Russia

Olympic champions Russia will visit the home country of World League champions Poland
Warsaw, Poland, February 28, 2013 – Poland will take on the Netherlands, Germany and Russia when the east European nation plays host to the 11th Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial tournament.

The competition will take place at the Orlen Arena in Plock, central Poland from September 6-8 and the aim is to build on the success of the 2012 tournament that was held in Zielona Gora.

“I have been told that we were very successful (last year) and in Plock fans have shown many times how well they support their players,” tournament organiser Jerzy Mroz said.

Hosts Poland will be aiming to repeat their success from 2012 when they defeated Germany, Argentina and Iran in the round-robin competition.
