Tunisia to host Men's Junior African Nations Championship

Tunisia is considered one of the big favourites to win the Junior African Nations Championship, which is a qualifier for the FIVB Men's U21 World Championship, in March

Cairo, Egypt, December 24, 2012- Tunisia is the new host of the Men's Junior African Nations Championship, which will run from March 2 to 9, 2013, replacing Morocco who withdrew as hosts last month.

The Men's Junior African Nations Championship is considered the biggest between all the age group competitions attracting the biggest number of participants in Africa. The competition will act also as a qualifier for the FIVB World Championship of this age category as the top four teams will secure their berths at the 2013 FIVB Men's U21 World Championship to be held in Turkey from August 22 to September 1, 2013.

Players eligible to participate in this competition must be born on January 1, 1993 or later.

The major continental forces at this age will be participating in this competition especially the defending champions Tunisia, runners-up Egypt and Algeria and Cameroon
