Coaches course completed in Paraguay

The 38 course participants included 10 female coaches

Asunción, Paraguay, December 14, 2012 – After 12 days of rigorous instruction, a Level I coaches course organised through a joint collaboration with the Olympic Solidarity came to an end on Wednesday.

The course was run by Paraguayan FIVB instructor Mario Ernesto Mongelós Salazar and Cuban course director Argelio Pascual Hernández Rodríguez. The 38 course participants included 10 female coaches. Between December 1 and December 12, they completed 50 theoretical classes and 46 practical sessions.

Cooperation between Olympic Solidarity and the FIVB has been a valuable asset in helping national federations get funding for technical courses throughout 2012, and this course provided yet another example of the smooth workings of that partnership.
