Volleyball Talent Identification Programme in Corrientes

An earlier camp held in La Paz involved about 20 players from different provinces who will be part of Argentina’s youth boys’ team next year
Corrientes, Argentina, December 5, 2012 – Argentina’s Volleyball Talent Identification Programme continued in December with a session for boys in Corrientes.

One camp to encourage grass-roots development took place December 1 and 2 at the regional capital under the guidance of Juan José Jantus. Five local schools took part. A further session is scheduled for December 7 and 8 in the same location. From December 14 to 16 the camp will be set up in at General San Martin gym in Ituzaingo, where the programme will target children aged 12 to 16.

In January there will be further events in Corrientes involving 12 players from the province, carried out with the support of the local Sports Secretariat.
