Al Rayyan can raise level of volleyball in Qatar

 
Al Rayyan dominated Tigres de Nuevo Leon of Mexico in all aspects of the game
 

Hassan Ajab Osamn, captain of Al Rayyan:  “We played well today. It was an easy match. The first matches we played under pressure but today we played well. I am very happy to participate in this Championship as we have learned a lot and I thank all the colleagues and our coach.”

Igor Arbutina, coach of Al Rayyan: “I am satisfied with the result today. Winning is important after the last two defeats. The players did well and I congratulate the Mexican team. The match was not easy but we played well and achieved a good performance and I believe our the team could have if had not started pressing against the Italian Team. We played today with a good spirit. I hope Al Rayyan will play better and will raise the level of volleyball in Qatar.”

On the future of player Mubarak:

Dahi Waleed Mubarak is one of the best players in Qatar: He’s still young but he has the chance to play well and perform with Al Rayyan. This Championship is a great experience for Mubarak and for all the players. As a team we need to put more spirit to achieve better results.”

Samuel Córdova, captain of Tigres de Nuevo León: “It was a good game for us. We made some errors but we were consistent in attack. It was a good experience to participate in this Championship.”

Jorge Azair, coach of Tigres de Nuevo León: “I will stay with the great experience gained in this championship. Today the team didn’t play well but it was a good experience to participate. We have realized that we need to work harder and try to play better. We also realize that Volleyball needs a lot of support in Mexico in order to be competitive."
