We’ll never see another pair like May-Treanor and Walsh: Kerri Pottharst

Kerri Pottharst says of Walsh and May-Treanor: "there are simply no words that can describe their achievement."

London, Great Britain, August 9, 2012 – Kerri Pottharst shared her final thoughts on the London 2012 Olympic Games and explains why she thinks Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh remained a cut above everyone else in this competition in her latest blog on the FIVB website.

According to Pottharst, the legacy established by the American pair – unparalleled in the world of beach volleyball – is a testament to the courage and the strength of mind that May-Treanor and Walsh can draw on when it matters most.

“It appears no team in the world has the ability to rise to the top, both physically and mentally, on such a big occasion as Kerri and Misty do,” says Pottharst. “Will we ever see this again? I doubt it.”

Pottharst goes on to say the London Games have been the best yet, even beating Sydney. To read her full blog, click here.
