USA men building perfectly - Hoff

After an impressive 3-1 win over Brazil on Thursday, the Olympic champions - ranked fifth in the world - face world No. 2 Russia on Saturday

London, Great Britain, August 4, 2012 - Beijing champion Tom Hoff says USA are on the right track to repeat their gold medal-winning performance of the 2008 Beijing Games.

In his latest blog on www.fivb.org, Hoff says USA are stepping into an enormous challenge to try and repeat the results from 2008, yet the bigger the challenge the more satisfying the experience.

"I think they’ve had a couple of challenging years in terms of consistency, and the ability to play at a high level from the beginning of a tournament to the end. I believe all those “trying” times are serving this team very well to show the world that there is still a strong core group of Olympic champions playing in these 2012 Games."
