Berruto: 'We are still moving on our rollercoaster'
Korean captain Young-Min Kwon: It was a really hard match through the first set but we expected that. After the second set, we played better and had fun. We were satisfied.
Italian captain Cristian Savani: It was a tough match. Playing against Korea is never easy. Like I said yesterday, we are coming off of a long rest period and aren’t in our best shape.
Korean coach Ki-Won Park: I wasn’t 100 percent satisfied. The players were OK but I gave them some advice. In the fifth set they lost because Italy played at a higher level. They are a very skilled team and played very well together. We are going to do our best tomorrow and it will be a really important game to continue to develop our players’ skills.
Italy coach Mauro Berruto: We are still moving on our rollercoaster with many ups and downs. We are one step ahead today because we won the match, which is nice. We knew when we came here we would show things here and there and try to keep the same level throughout an entire match. We are completing the tasks that we came here for. We will continue to step ahead tomorrow.
