Important step for Germany, more experience for Argentina

 
Smashed by Germany in his debut as a head coach of Argentina Juan Manual Barrial
 
Sofia, Bulgaria - June 29th, 2012 - Germany are on the hunt for one more point against Portugal tomorrow to qualify for the 2012 FIVB Volleyball World League Finals after defeating Argentina 3-0.

Vital Heynen, Germany coach: "We played good, especially at the beginning. Of course, I`m happy because we`re coming closer to the Finals, which is our actual goal."

Bjorn Andrae, Germany captain: "This victory was important step for us. We played concentrated in the beginning and not that much in the end. It was good and clear game for us."

Juan Manuel Barrial, Argentina coach: "We played bad at the first set and we had problems. They were better than us and the logical thing was to win. We are thinking of giving this players more experience next two matches."


Rodrigo Quiroga, Argentina captain: "I'm sad, because we missed the opportunity to qualify for the FInals. Germany pressed us with service. Now we think about the matches with Bulgaria and Portugal."
