Referees welcomed in Romania

The course will run until next Monday, encompassing both theoretical and practical sessions
Romania, Zalau, October 2011 - Romania began their third FIVB International Refereeing Candidate Course (IRCC) on Monday with 12 men and seven women gathering in Zalau for the event.

Headed by FIVB Refereeing Commission member Gyula Radi and FIVB Rules of the Game Commission member Jean-Claude Baccus, the course will run until next Monday.

The official opening ceremony was concluded by president of the Romanian Refereeing Commission Radu Farmus who extended the Romanian Volleyball Federation’s welcome to all those taking part.

The IRCC will comprise of both theoretical and practical sessions. The practical aspect of the course will see candidates officiate matches between the country’s top sides in the Romanian Cup.
