"We proved we are a team", underlined Iran's Pourya Fayazi

Captains Uros Kovacevic from Serbia and Pourya Fayazi from Iran after the match

Serbia's Captain Uros Kovacevic: "I want to congratulate Iran for the victory. We played really bad today. We made a lot of mistakes and I can't really tell why".

Serbia's Head Coach Milan Djuricic: "Iran deserved this victory. We played a bad match. Now we have to rest and think on tomorrow's game. If we believe we can win, we will defeat Spain".

Iran's Captain Pourya Fayazi: "After losing to Spain, we were in a bad situation because today we were facing the European champion. Today we played well and we proved we are a team, not only six or seven players. We are twelve players".

Iran's Head Coach Behrouz Ataei Nouri: "Serbia has a great team, but the match turned on our favour. We are in a good shape and in this category the mental side is very important, so we hope we can use this to improve even more from here on".
