Logan Tom last featured at the FIVB World Grand Prix in 2008 when USA finished fourth
Rome, Italy, February 16, 2010 – USA’s Logan Tom has shown she is preparing well for the FIVB World Grand Prix by having recorded the most amount of aces (four) during last weekend’s Findomestic Cup Volley Series A1 in Italy.

The 28-year-old Asystel Volley Novara star achieved this despite her side going down 3-1 (15-25, 20-25, 25-20, 23-25) to MC Carnaghi Villa Cortese.

Tom, who won gold at the FIVB 2001 World Grand Prix as well as silver at both the FIVB World 2002 Championships and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, is hoping to be part of the USA squad that will travel to Ningbo, China for the World FIVB Grand Prix finals from 25 to 29 August.
