Larson: “We executed our game plan well”

Jordan Larson celebrates with her team-mates as Eczacibasi won two matches in a row in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship

Shaoxing, China, December 5, 2018 – Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul executed their game plan well to edge Supreme Chonburi in straight sets in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship on Wednesday.

Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul coach Marco Aurelio Motta: “We played a great game today. We served very well and blocked well. I am happy and satisfied with the performance of the team.”

Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul captain Jordan Larson: “We had a strong performance. We came out and had a game plan and we executed well. They (Supreme Chonburi) are a good team. It’s fun to play against them because you’ll never know what combination they are going to run and they play great defence.

Supreme Chonburi coach Nataphon Srisamutnak
: “We played better than yesterday. I always tell my players to do their best and the results will depend on how they played the game. We played Altay Volleyball Club before and we know how to play against them.”

Supreme Chonburi captain Wilavan Apinyapong: “We tried to play our best. We know how good Eczacibasi team is and we just want to gain experience playing against teams like them.”
