Distance no object for Argentine volleyball fans

Argentina will have support from all over the country in Cordoba
Lausanne, Switzerland, June 13, 2017 – Tierra del Fuego is Argentina’s most southerly province and 3,168-kilometres from Cordoba where Argentina host three days of FIVB World League action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

However, that has not stopped a 30-person delegation from the Tierra del Fuego Volleyball Federation from travelling north to take in a full volleyball weekend at the Orfeo Superdromo.

In total Tierra del Fuego will be represented by 24 players, three coaches and three other delegates.

Argentina face Serbia, Bulgaria and their great rivals and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games gold medallists Brazil.

So far Julio Velasco’s team has won one match and lost five, so they will be hoping to maximise their home team advantage.
