Technical seminar in physical preparation begins in the Philippines

 
Tacloban City is welcoming a technical seminar from August 29 to September 2
Tacloban City, Philippines, August 29, 2014 - Ten months after the onslaught of typhoon Haiyan, Tacloban City is hosting an FIVB Technical Seminar on physical preparation from August 29 to September 2.

The course is being given by renowned FIVB Instructor Mr Tatsuya Adachi. It has been organised in cooperation with the local Volleyball Association of Leyte, Tacloban City and the Philippine Volleyball Federation.

The Opening Ceremony was followed by a press conference, which was attended by Tacloban City Vice Mayor Mr Jerry “Sambo” Yaokasin. City Sports Director Mr Joel Bugho and Philippine Volleyball Federation President Mr Karl Chan were also present. A total of 21 delegates and 1 observer - 20 men and two women - are attending the course, representing various national, university and local volleyball authorities.

The aim of the technical seminar is to develop the knowledge of the coaches involved on how best to improve the physical fitness of their respective volleyball teams.
