Teachers benefit from technical seminar in Venezuela

 
The Teachers Course took place at the Development Centre in Caracas, Venezuela
Caracas, Venezuela, August 12, 2014 - The Development Centre in Caracas, Venezuela organised a Teachers Course from July 26-30, which was the second FIVB sponsored activity at the centre this year. The course attracted 20 participants, 19 from Venezuela and one from Cuba.

The Teachers Course addressed fundamental issues related to how to teach volleyball at a school level. During the five-day seminar, participating teachers received very practical information from FIVB instructor Mr Luis Alberto Trejo concerning the best methods and practices applicable to teaching volleyball to children.

A majority of the participants worked at a school level and at educational institutions working with children. They expressed their satisfaction with the course's content and their willingness to transfer their new knowledge at a school level over the coming year.
