International Referee Candidates Course organised in Japan

 
The International Referee Candidates Course will take place at the Kitakyusyu International Conference Center
Fukuoka, Japan, August 7, 2014 - An International Referee Candidates Course will be held in Kitakyusyu-city, Fukuoka, Japan from August 25-31 at the Kitakyusyu International Conference Center. Participants will also be involved in the Kitakyusyu Cup at the city's gymnasium.

The course will be conducted by FIVB Refereeing Commission President Hassan Ahmed Mohamed from Egypt. He will be joined by Tomoyuki Nishikawa of Japan from the FIVB Rules of the Game Commission. Takashi Shimoyama, who is a member of the FIVB Refereeing Commission and Managing Director of the Japan Volleyball Association's domestic events division, will also help with the organisation of the event.

A total of 20 participants from 13 countries including Australia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Estonia, Hong Kong, Iran, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Spain and Japan will participate in the course. The Japan Volleyball Association hosted IRCC 1976 in Tokyo, 1966 in Tokyo and 1962 in Tokyo.
