The Anti-Doping Outreach Programme booth was visited by players, referees, medical personnel and coaches
Larnaka, Cyprus, August 6, 2014 - An Anti-Doping Outreach Programme was organised at the FIVB U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Larnaka, Cyprus from July 25-26.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Cyprus Anti-Doping Authority (CYADA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Participants included beach volleyball players, referees, medical staff and coaches. The aim of the programme was to improve knowledge of anti-doping and proved a success, with about 100 people visiting the booth for information.

A short interactive session provided valuable information on anti-doping to participants, who were provided with useful reference tools on this important topic. Participants were also able to put their questions to medical delegate Dr. Hossam Baghat and representatives of the Cyprus Anti-Doping Authority.
